Hoodwinked Again

This book blends three story lines into one: the author's brief employment with the CIA as a young college student, his study of the economic theory of Free Trade and his experiences at a furniture company called This End Up. The story reaches a crescendo when the furniture company allegedly uses public grant monies to help globalize its production operations. The author's investigation into these questionable grants from the state of North Carolina reveals some startling behavior by the guardians of the public till in the old North State and the lack of accountability that our public servants display.
