Honey of Danger

Amid the vast, untamed forests of northern Ontario, a man on the run seeks refuge from a world that has branded him a criminal. A chemist, once seduced by the promise of a brilliant career, fled Montreal after a corporate fraud scandal left him facing a prison sentence. Now, with only a canoe, a shotgun, and an easel, he drifts through the wilderness, haunted by the music of a passing camping party and the fleeting image of a girl dancing by firelight.When a chance encounter leads him to a remote apiary run by a solitary beekeeper, he sees an escape far sweeter than he ever imagined. The hives buzz with the promise of raspberry honey and a simple life, but the past is never far behind. As he begins to tend the bees and nurture a fragile hope, he must decide whether this hidden haven can truly protect him-or whether danger has followed him into the honeyed heart of the wild.
