Homegrown Leadership is based on a 25-year career of learning how to build highly productive teams in order to create as much value for an organization as possible. It covers an array of topics that many companies seem to take for granted when they promote someone to a leadership position. No one ever tells you how to navigate office politics, or that setting very clear and specific expectations for your team is the first step in helping them to be highly productive. The processes of hiring and firing can be daunting even to a seasoned leader. Homegrown Leadership offers insights into these processes that can help new and experienced leaders avoid pitfalls. Even the concept of how to run an effective meeting is often times left up to imagination or imitation, which is why so much time is wasted in ineffective meetings.
