Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. T o the critic the writer has little to say beyond pleading apology for his style, being an author in a tongue to him altogether acquired since he arrived at manhood. The grand proposition, taking it as an aggregate whole, is based upon eternal truth, and, therefore, beyond the power of little minds; and great minds will ever give a judicious verdict.
