Since the 1990's, Equine Therapy has emerged as an effective tool in assisting in Physical and emotional support to an individual. This modality has increased as an intervention in Early Onset Dementia as well. This book examines fundamentals approaches as to why these horses can help us, how their instinct mentality, and being sentient animals have effectively help us emotionally and physically. The author having over 40 years experience working with patients as a nurse for 15 years and clients 25 years in Psychotherapy, discusses her own experience with horses that ignited her interest in pursuing a credential in Equine Therapy, CBEIP-MH.
