This is a new edition of Joseph Conrad's most famous tale. Unlike most other editions, this edition focuses on the time in which Conrad was himself in the Congo (rather than the years after he had left) and draws comparisons and contrasts with Conrad's own experience and therefore allows the reader to consider the tale in the context of Conrad's time in the Congo.
