Health Impacts of Globalization

This volume brings together an interdisciplinary group of researchers to analyse specific case studies that provide an empirical analysis of the impact of globalization on health. The range of issues covered - AIDS, tobacco control, BSE/CJD, nutrition, cholera, antimicrobial resistance, WTO, global governance - is intended to be illustrative, rather than representative, of the diverse health impacts of global change.
