Hate My Face is a book dedicated to addressing the main issues that are facing our young black men. Issues dealt with are single parent homes, music, the church, community, and self identity. Crouch uses a realistic approach to this dilemma, as well as a spiritual approach. This book is a must have for anyone who deals with young black men on a regular basis, or has a heart to want to see our young black men grow up to be successful, love filled adult black men. This book is raw, honest, as well as self revealing for Crouch himself. He speaks from personal accounts, as well as observation. The main purpose of this book is to help teach our young men that they must love themselves, and understand and utilize the power of love in every aspect of life.
