Harbinger Asylum: Spring 2019

Harbinger Asylum is Houston's leading independent poetry and arts journal. Houston, Texas has one of the oldest creative writing department in the United States which can brag of writers such as Tony Hoagland, Kevin Prufer, and Anis Shivani. Harbinger Asylum collects writers from all over world into its compact 70-80 pages of poetic license. This issue contains an interview with Iranian political dissident Dr. Reza Parchizadeh, a book review by Dr. Ryan Guth, and stunning poets from across the world sharing their talents and obsessions. This edition is a welcome addition to poetry collectors worldwide because it introduces Stuti Shree, a young poet and student in India, as guest editor.
