Green Synthesis of Oilfield Chemicals for Sustainable Development

Plant based solutions for Oilfield Flow Assurance Problems using natural plant based materials were presented. The synthesis of key oilfield chemicals such as corrosion inhibitors, surfactants, and scale inhibitors through green chemistry principles, emphasizing atom economy, reduction of hazardous substances, and energy efficiency were described. The prospects of this approach are promising, suggesting a pathway toward the widespread adoption of sustainable practices in the oil and gas industry.
