Born during the depression on a dairy farm, Grandpa Ray tells all. True, humorous anecdotes that will keep you laughing and wondering what's next.

Welcome to Grandpa's world. It has been said that everyone has their little idiosyncrasies (quirks). Grandpa had a truckload. When Grandpa was towing the line, the line broke. Poor old Grandpa was always in one scrape after another. Born in the middle of the great depression on a family farm, Grandpa had to live with the times and times were hard. Grandpa's Book is a book of actual happenings in the life of a bumbling farm boy, who eventually became a bumbling door-to-door salesman. From the beginning, life had its drawbacks. On a cold January afternoon, Grandpa was pulled out of his warm place of concealment, grabbed by the heels and whacked a good one on the rear end. This was called birth. But, when Grandpa wanted to learn about bringing forth new life, by watching the farm animals, he was told to "go to the house." Spilling the chamber pot on the hot stove did get rid of the hired man that was a menace in Grandpa's life. High school didn't seem to get any better with one catastrophe after another. Each adversity is told in a humorous manner. Near death experiences allowed Grandpa to write his own capricious epitaph. He spent over three months in the "Fruit and Nut" ward of a military base hospital before being sent home. Reading Grandpa's life as a salesman will produce chuckle after chuckle. If you want to reminisce, or learn a little about the "good old days" of the 1930s - 40s - 50s, etc. read, Grandpa's Book. If you enjoy honest humor, actual life stories, you will cherish, Grandpa's Book. A fun book to read as Grandpa tells all.
