Graduation Is Not for Angels

Many of today's growing churches are turning to drama to convey the biblical message. Karren Boehr is a member of an active drama team that produces from one to three dramas monthly for Sunday morning worship, many of which she has written. Her church (with a membership of over 1,000) actively uses music and drama to enhance the message of the day and encourage more participation in worship. Boehr is a registered nurse who currently serves as the public relations coordinator of Henderson Health Care Services in Nebraska. She writes a weekly column for four area newspapers, has authored the pre-teen book Ants In The Sugar Bowl, and teaches creative writing and short story and play development with the Nebraska Artists-in-Residence program.
