Global Governance: Giving the Un the Tools It Needs to Save the World

The world faces three threats, two of them existential. Nuclear weapons and climate change can end all life on this planet. Economic inequality has plagued humanity from the beginning. All must be addressed. The best way to effectively address these threats is to give the United Nations limited jurisdiction, that is, the power to pass laws binding on all nations. How we do this is a political problem not addressed in this book. Whether we do it, though, is imperative.Appended to this book is a proposed revised UN Charter. It is not the end all of global governance solutions, but it may serve as a starting point for a much-needed discussion about how we save mankind from itself.
