Geomorphological and Geoenvironmental Mapping of Igarapé Belmont - Rondônia

This work aims to provide unique geomorphological and environmental data on the Igarap Belmont Basin in Porto Velho - Rond nia, on an analysis scale of 1:25,000, covering the northern area of the city of Porto Velho and a large part of the countryside. The author is concerned with applying the entire geomorphological mapping process employed by the IBGE at a detailed scale to classify the Basin's relief modelling at the level of distinguishing slope types, as well as classifying the most suitable areas for land use. It is hoped that this work will serve as a source for future geomorphological studies, contributing to the detailed mapping of the Amazon region.
