Geometric Analysis of the Itakpe Open Pit Mine

Using the limiting stripping ratio approach, I can establish the overall slope angle of the mine using the mine surface intercept method of which the overall slope should be inclined at an angle of 53 . The mine divided into benches of 10m intervals would enable easy estimation of the production rate as the given deepening rate would aid in calculations. All these would enable easy design of the mine as well as its planning prior to when production commences.
