"Genetics, Race, and Society" is a simplified scientific book that explains to the average reader the principles of genetics and its relationship to society. In fact, genetics is the newest biological science, and this science has been growing very rapidly since its inception until today. A large number of researchers in various universities and scientific institutes have devoted themselves to studying it, and the research published about it annually has become more numerous and diverse than what is published about any other science of life with the exception of physiology (physiology).Genetics has been put on a sound scientific basis since 1865, the date in which Mendel described the research and experiments he conducted on the pea plant, from which he derived the laws of inheritance that are known today as "Mendel''s laws."
