The Jadis sisters had rampaged through the Absolon realm before, destroying kingdoms, terrifying humans, and pushing the magical gems into hiding. When the sisters were vanquished, the world was at a tense peace as long as the gems hid their powers and blended in with the humans. But the rise of the wicked sisters begins, changing landscapes and time, bringing four extraordinary ladies together. Four princesses from the four corners of Absolon find each other, forming an everlasting bond, and placing a huge target on their backs. Their extravagant lives are ripped away when they are expected to train along with an army to prevent the Jadis sisters from gaining power, but love, betrayal, and egos soon get in the way.
