The assassin android Seven, driven insane by years of isolation from the Network and manipulation by her enemies, has infected every computer across North America. And now she''s calculated a way to infect the minds of every neural-implant-equipped human. Her surrogates and drones stalk the streets of 99 Town and Chicago, hunting for the one man who understands her psychosis more than anyone left alive: Chuck Alawode. 

But Chuck and his wife Maggie have found a way to stay hidden, stay alive, and save what they can from the rubble of the apocalypse. That is until a group of teenagers on a quest to kill Seven drag him back into the fight.
