Footprints in the Sand

Raymond Charles wakes up one day, having no idea where he is. All he sees around him is desert. Try as he may, he can't even remember his name. He has no wallet, and has no identification of any kind in his pockets. Worse yet, he has no memory of anything. His memory is totally gone. He wonders how he got into this situation, and why he is even on this desert. Who did this to him? Why would anyone bring him to this desert? The heat is unbearable. The only thing he can think of is to get out of this horrible situation. But how?
