Food safety has received increased attention as an alarming issue all over the world. Particularly, unsafe foods can lead to several negative effects on human health and economic-related aspects. As a result of such influence, governments from different countries have stipulated food regulations and legislation to protect not only their people but also economic-related aspects. In the 21st century, the food global market has been deeply integrated. Indeed, the leading agricultural producing countries tend to export their products to other regions affected by unfavorable weather or by the impacts of climate changes or have different economic development policies. To meet the food regulations or legislation between countries, the need for global harmonization of food safety regulations arises as one of the most urgent issues. This book therefore provides valuable insights into food safety challenges and focuses on global harmonization of food safety regulations - perspectives in Vietnam.
