Two years after a Gulf War injury ended his career in the British Army, Dr John Macbride is building a quiet, respectable life: steady job, devoted fiancee, no surprises. Everything is fine. Or so he tells himself. But on a flight to Boston, he finds himself seated next to a handsome and oddly familiar American.
