A set of platoon-level wargaming rules for fighting in a Cold War Gone Hot scenario. East vs West. Capitalist vs Communist. Take the field as either the Warsaw Pact or NATO in Flashpoint, a set of platoon-level wargaming rules for an alternate history 1986 in which the Cold War didn't stay cold. Players can recruit their forces from a range of conventional infantry formations through to special forces and even guerrilla combatants, with varied unit compositions and tactical options reflecting the nature of this 'modern' war. Featuring an extensive campaign system allowing for platoon, squad, and individual character development, Flashpoint contains all the rules, units, and scenarios needed to fight wargames set in Europe during World War III.
