Bill Weston's wife, Denise, walked out on him after nineteen years of marriage, leaving him with bitterness and shock he could not overcome. He met David Logan. David fell in love Bill and asked him to go and live with him. He didn't know what Bill's marriage had been like, but he had to find out, because as long as Bill hated Denise he couldn't love anybody else.
