Finding Love in San Francisco

Moving to San Francisco from a small New England town was a very big step for 27 year old Heather Layton, but this is exactly what she did after a highly bitter divorce. Relocation is difficult. She encounters sexual abuse and other obstacles. She is determined. Eventually meeting a young corporate attorney, Scott Marshall, who hires her as his private secretary. She's highly efficient at her work, but also seems to "e;pamper him."e;He's delighted at the progress she makes in the office. Eventually they begin dating. He takes her to exciting, romantic places she's never seen before and they fall in love; but will she ever be reunited with her loving parents and her brother, Jimmy, she left behind so suddenly months ago without even a goodbye? An attempted hijacking of an airliner and a tragic car accident all add to her dilemma. Where she was previously very discouraged about life, the young attorney has changed all that; and what in the world had been left on Scott's doorstep early one morning?!
