Female Narcissists

At 65, I believed I had reached a stage of wisdom. I'd weathered life's storms—careers, children, friendships lost and found. I wasn't naïve. Or so I thought. Then she arrived:  attentive—a woman who seemed to understand me in ways I had only thought possible. I mistook intensity for intimacy, and flattery for affection. Before I knew it, I was married to a narcissist.
