Die Kulturhauptstadt Europas RUHR.2010, das Ruhrgebiet, ist einer der größten industriell geprägten Ballungsräume Europas. Kulturlandschaft und urbane Agrarwirtschaft sind hier einem hohen Innovationsdruck ausgesetzt. In dem Kulturhauptstadtprojekt „Zwei Berge, eine Kulturlandschaft" wagen Landschaftsarchitekt und Landwirt neue Experimente auf dem Feld von Schönheit und Nützlichkeit.

The Ruhr area – European Capital of Culture RUHR.2010 and one of Europe’s major agglomerations with an industrial history – is, just like every ordinary metropolitan area, deeply rooted in a cultural landscape. With the project "Two Hills, One Landscape", advanced landscape architects, farmers and foresters embark on new ventures in the field of beauty and usefulness.
