Fastball Fari

Who is Fari Madrigal? Only the first female player in the history of the major leagues. Fari is a mystical girl from the Dominican Republic whose beauty is exceeded only by the hop on her fastball. Within days of being discovered, Fari rises to the top of the baseball world and all of America. But she soon learns that the price she will have to pay for success and fame may be very dear: the very soul that drives her to seek perfection on the mound, and maybe even her life.
