Sybille Chevrier, sure that her dream of becoming a film star is going to come true after her fathers hectic career transfers them from Paris to America, slowly but surely begins to realize her strange new world is not what it seems. It is 1962 Manhattan. America defuses The Cuban Missile Crisis. Things begin looking up.
