Evidence and interpretation in historical deconstruction

Essay from the year 2016 in the subject History - Miscellaneous, , language: English, abstract: Evidence is essential to the interpreter (Historian) in his work, however ,the historian also adds value to his work by reassessing the traces of the past by organizing his facts in sequential order, and therefore infers meaning from his work through the use of text or language. The evidence used in writing history, whether it owes its value to the interpreter of source or not, has become a debate among several schools of thought. Since the later parts of the 19th century and stretching into the early part of the 20th century, numerous debates have emerged with regard to the perfect approach with which the past must be visited. Briefly with different schools of thought about the relationship between evidence and the interpreter (Historian), this work seeks to solve the impasse .
