Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) is a new method for the treatment of numerous chronic disorders of the musculoskeletal system: calcific tendinitis of the shoulder joint; lateral epicondylitis; medial epicondylitis; plantar fasciitis; and pseudarthrosis.
