Electronic publishing and press production

This book attempts to connect the technological revolution of our present age and the flow of information with "journalistic production," a modern science that emerged after World War II, in a period of no more than half a century. This has made it possible to leverage the vast capabilities of computers and the Internet to develop journalistic production methods, in terms of character and text processing, as well as photographic and digital imagery. This has given journalistic production a new dimension in terms of readability, clarity, attractiveness, and accuracy, along with the art of color, and the consequent increase in attracting the reader''s attention and interest. Within this framework, the book addresses the new relationship between the electronic publishing revolution and its many uses, and journalistic production and the employment of these two new factors in the world of journalism: enhancing the value of journalistic work and focusing on its aesthetics, in an effort to achieve the greatest possible journalistic service, with the goal of enhancing public taste, increasing distribution, and increasing revenues from journalistic work.
