Electrical Manipulation of Cells

This work discusses both DNA and RNA transfer and includes a chapter on the equipment required to perform this kind of research. Commercially available equipment is described, and circuit diagrams are also provided so that researchers can design their own apparatus. Thus, this book covers both the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. While much of the initial work in this area has been done with the more easily manipulable plant cells, applications of the techniques to animal cells are also covered in this volume.
