Kazimierz Chomko, born in 1911, was an agent of peace. From 1939 to 1945, he was a soldier in the Polish Army, and acting under the Canadian flag he was a Tank Troop Commander. He landed on the Normandy Beach on D+6 and until the war ended he was continuously in action. Deeply religious, Kaz did not want to kill.
