Doll's House

Nora Helmers has recently placed herself at considerable financial risk so that her husband, the overbearing Torvald, could recuperate from an illness. Torvald thinks Nora careless and childlike -- his doll -- and proves unable to comprehend the depth of her affection and sacrifice. Nora comes to see her marriage for what it is and will contemplate the unthinkable.
