Direct Support Fund for Schools and Teaching Quality

Improving the quality of education, especially at primary school level in Mozambique, has been a major concern of the government authorities through the Ministry of Education and Human Development. As such, there is a need to improve the performance of the education sector, especially at school level. To this end, human, material and financial resources are allocated so that children's education is effective in the field of literacy and numeracy. It is in this context that this book addresses issues related to the management of the Direct Support Fund for Schools in order to improve the quality of education. To this end, this book is useful both in countries like Mozambique and in other developing countries, especially those that have started to reform education.
