Digital Strategies for Enterprise Converged Security Systems

This dissertation examines how digital strategies enhance enterprise cyber-physical security systems by integrating physical and cyber defences into a unified framework. It identifies the urgent need to move beyond siloed security models, especially as organisations face complex threats-from cyberattacks to environmental disruptions. Through a mixed-methods approach, the study reveals that tailored digital strategies improve cross-functional coordination, accelerate incident response, and strengthen overall resilience. In sectors like healthcare, where operational continuity and data protection are critical, the findings show that blending technology with human oversight is essential.
