Developments in Critical Care Medicine and Anaesthesiology

Pediatric and Obstetrical Anesthesia comprises the edited presentations of the 40th Annual Postgraduate Course in Anesthesiology, February 1995. The book reflects the most recent advances in the physiology, pharmacology and anesthetic management of patients with central nervous system disease. Subjects such as central nervous system trauma and brain protection are also dealt with. Obstetrical and pediatric patients constitute important and often challenging cases for the practicing anesthesiologist.
