Detective O'Neil Murder Mystery: Jack-in-the-box

The Detective O'Neil Murder Mysteries are a passion of Phillips. Jack in the box is the fourth in the series and is about the deaths of several motor cyclists in the late 60's and early 70's but the killer was never caught. Similar deaths appeared 30 years later and O'Neil and his brilliant assistant, Myers, are requested to assist in the investigations. The story twists and turns as confusion sets in from sources sent to kill and put blame on innocent others and it takes O'Neil and Myers time to sort the chaff from the wheat.
