Dementia and Nellie Dean

Nellie Dean was known to many, on a face-book page called Dementia Aware, as my mother who had Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. Later my mother was to help me start a Purple Angel dementia inclusive community in our town. Through education and understanding we lived "better". The disease was devastating for mum but also for our whole family. Many people write their stories leaving a message for the future. I simply want everyone to know how brave my mother was and mention some of the things that I learnt on the way.
