Dear Heaven

This letter story part Two of Book One, A Son's Gift (a/k/a) A Journey of Unconditional Love.

Letters can be a conduit of healing. Especially when deep and profound words are expressed. Nick was a young adult who continually faced death with insurmountable odds and setbacks. His robust perseverance transcended impending darkness. Yet, he captured the world with his humble heart throughout his five year journey with Ewing's Sarcoma.

For families whose loved ones transitioned, a written artifact is comforting. When we embrace grief while we empower our healing heart we remind ourselves that 'once was' memory is forever etched of 'what is' in our present moment. In celebration of these poignant and yet beautiful letters that follow my first published book A Journey Of Unconditional Love, they remind me over and over how my son's spirit was an inspiration to all who share the inner pain, joy, and love within these pages.
