Counting in Chuukese

Counting in Chuukese is a fun and colorful counting book. Through the use of vibrant imagery, this book teaches children to count in Chuukese, which is one of many languages of the people of Micronesia.In Chuukese, each different type of thing or object must be counted using a different numbering system, according to the shape of the object being counted. In this book, we will teach you five of the many counting systems used in Chuuk. The systems we will teach include: counting general things, people/animals, round objects, long objects, and flat objects.
