Micah and Miriam Abraham, prominent residents and owner/operators of the only department store in Ashley, Alabama have disappeared. Stuart Fein and Dede Lehman's search for both the missing persons and the reasons behind their disappearance will take them to a cemetery at midnight. a florist's shop in Los Angeles, A Brazilian restaurant in Culver City and finally, to a small rocky peninsula on the empty Pacific coast of Baja California.
