A strange man with music and stories charms a young boy with tales of Monsters, Devils, Magic Coins, and Death. Along the Buncombe Turnpike dirt road in 1834. The stories become too real far too quickly and set off a tale of two silver coins from a set of 30 used to seal a world-changing event in the Middle East many years ago. The Coins and their influence interact with the History of North Carolina from then to the present day. Local community leaders arrange to protect others from the evil associated with the silver.
