Contributions to the Study of Business Law in Uruguay

This publication contains the works written by the author over the last years, participating in the Uruguayan commercial doctrine. This, in very important years in historical terms, witnesses of structural changes that marked a significant turnaround in the very contours of Commercial Law at national and international level. The works are, in all cases, a proactive reaction to situations that reality has confronted the business world. The theories and ideas put forward have always tried to be impregnated with a search for unraveling real life problems, appealing to creativity and the application of Comparative Law solutions, often not considered due to their apparent alienation to the Uruguayan and Latin American legal tradition. The advantage of a compilation book such as this one is that there are no spaces without content and the reader will find, at all times, an approach, a development and a conclusion, which typically attempts to answer a specific question or questions. It should be noted that many of these works were at the forefront and were precursors of legislative reforms.
