Contract Farming In Bukanga Sub-county Luuka District.

This study assesses the impact of contract farming on the knowledge, attitude, and practices (KAP) of sugarcane outgrowers in Bukanga Sub County, Luuka District, Uganda. It measures the impact on agricultural practices and income levels, identifies the challenges faced by farmers in contract farming programs, and offers recommendations for improving the KAP and income levels of farmers. The study focuses on Bukanga Sub County, Luuka District, Uganda, covering the period from 2018 to 2023, and focuses on sugarcane cash crop production and contract farming's influence on the KAP of farmers.
