Consistency-Aware System Design and Verification

This book develops a consistency-aware approach to design and verification for pipelines in control, estimation, optimization, robotics, diagnostics, and allocation. Although not widely recognized, many familiar tools such as least squares, SVDs, matrix condition numbers, and many others are widely misused in ways that undermine system integrity. The author addresses this and develops a consistency audit-based framework for preserving and assessing system integrity.
