Congo Fantasy (Book 2)

The sequel to Book 1 featuring the 3 boys Jason, Duncan and Simon. Simon escapes from the 2 Cyclops that had grabbed him and follows a trail back to Brazzaville. Jason was held captive by a chimera and fortunately escapes and makes his way back to their unreliable guide Mambo's shack. To his surprise he found Duncan had also escaped from the cyclops and was hiding inside the hut. Mambo returns, refuses to help them return to Brazzaville and rushes off leaving them behind. They decide to follow him and surprised to see him swim into a waterfall and disappear. Following after him, they alight into an eerie cavern and see him in the distance. Too nervous about going any further, returned to Brazzaville where they ring their parents and are elated to hear Simon was back in Australia. Much to their surprise they learn of the plan to rescue them. A team from Australian Geographic would arrive next week to join in the search. Their editor also wanted them to find out where animal poachers were operating to write an article on this evil practice. Simon would be coming along with their fathers.
