It is the purpose of this book to bring together materials that may help the lawyer and the planner talk together with a greater understanding of each other's problems and points of view. This casebook contains collections of facts or events, some hypothetical, but most of them historical, that raises serious conflicts of interest and require settlement by some device, either the dictate of some private individual or group, or the exercise of a more orderly "e;legal"e; procedure.
