China has made stunning achievements in the past 60 years. How does she do it? The author investigates Chinese institutions today, namely all the economic, political and social models unique to China, to reveal the reasons behind China's achievements and identify the proven "e;Chinese model"e;. The author proposes three sub-models of the Chinese model:A national economy in which the "e;state"e; and the "e;people"e; share responsibilities and collaborate; a "e;people-oriented"e; political institution and a "e;official-and-people-as-one"e; social institution.The "e;trinity"e; of "e;state-people"e;, "e;people-orientation"e; and the state constitute today's Chinese institution. It is the secret weapon that created the wonder of the world in a mere 60 years. The author discards the Western ideology and discourse system to summarize the Chinese model with penetrating insights and logic, offering an alternative to popular Western theories.
