This includes the practical couplet works of Hakka settlements and migration transfer areas all over the world; Couplets written for Hakka characters by non Hakka people in their work and life; couplets written and used by Hakka people in their work and life in other places; and couplets written for Hakka people by non Hakka people. These couplets began in Tang and Song Dynasties, and the lower limit is now. The works of previous dynasties before 1949, whether in conformity with laws or not, are included as materials as much as possible.
